Yesterday, a light breeze helped fire up the largemouth bass bite in Taw Caw Creek on Lake Marion. Anglers reported steady action, with bass actively hitting near submerged structure and along the creek’s deeper channels.

However, today’s conditions have changed—calmer waters have slowed down the bite, requiring a more strategic approach. Slower presentations with soft plastics and crankbaits near drop-offs may still produce results.
